THE HEART OF JESUS
Serving is the very heart and nature of Jesus. While on earth, He met people’s physical and tangible needs. As servants of Christ, it is our belief that we should do the same. Simply put, we are able to identify more with the character of Christ when we serve others.
WHY SERVE TOGETHER
Life was meant to be enjoyed in the context of community. When we participate with others in serving, we build strong relationships, while growing together in our walk with God.
Secondly, there is strength in numbers. We are simply better together. When we serve in teams, we combine our strength and become much more effective in advancing the cause of Christ.
Lastly, we serve together because no one person can single-handedly move the vision of the church forward. Potter’s House is a family of believers, and our church will not be built on the gifts and talents of a few, but on the sacrifice and service of many.
If you would like to serve, please pick up a ministry booklet on Sunday to see where you can serve.
PLACES TO SERVE
“Church isn’t where you meet. Church isn’t a building. Church is what you do. Church is who you are. Church is the human outworking of the person of Jesus Christ. Let’s not go to Church, let’s be the Church.”
